12 September 2025– Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) launched the Focused Community Pilot Project in Kampung Kubang Badak to empower the community through knowledge, entrepreneurship and sustainability. The project, which has been implemented since 2024, is worth more than RM100,000 and involves various funding sources such as SULAM, KTAGS, Sejati Madani@KPT and Komuniti@UniMADANI. The Launching Ceremony of the UMT Focused Community Pilot Project – Kg. Kubang Badak was officiated by the UMT Vice Chancellor and was also attended by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation) as well as UMT’s strategic partners, namely the Terengganu State Federal Development Office, the Department of Agriculture and the Fisheries Office.
